1. Who we are
Insite Platform (“Insite”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a SaaS customer communication platform operated by INVESTUY S.A.S., based in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Insite enables businesses to manage customer conversations across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger from a single dashboard. Our platform is available at https://www.insite.sh.
2. Information we collect
a) Account information
When you register for Insite, we collect your name, email address, and organization details necessary to create and manage your account.
b) Connected channel data
When you connect a WhatsApp Business account, Instagram account, or Facebook Page to Insite, we receive and store access tokens and account identifiers provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. via their APIs. These tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
c) Messaging data
Insite processes messages sent and received through your connected channels on your behalf. This includes the content of messages, sender and recipient identifiers, timestamps, and message status updates (delivered, read, failed). This data is stored to provide you with a conversation history and to enable your team to respond to customers.
d) Usage data
We collect information about how you use the platform, including log data, device information, and interaction data, to improve our service and diagnose issues.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Insite platform
- Send and receive messages on your behalf through connected channels
- Store conversation history for your team
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Improve and develop new features
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. We do not use messaging data for advertising purposes.
4. Meta platform data
Insite integrates with Meta Platforms, Inc. products including WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram Messaging API, and Facebook Messenger Platform. When you authorize Insite to access your Meta accounts, we access only the data necessary to provide the messaging features of our platform. Data obtained through Meta APIs is used solely to operate the features you have authorized. We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. 5. Data sharing
- Service providers: We use third-party services to operate our platform (such as database hosting and cloud infrastructure). These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Meta Platforms: We exchange data with Meta APIs as necessary to deliver messages through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data retention
We retain your account information and conversation data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Access tokens for connected channels are deleted when you disconnect a channel from your account.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Access tokens and credentials for connected channels are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Cookies
